Qualified as an Expert Witness by the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Ruth Brayer specializes in handwriting identification. Ms. Brayer manages both criminal and civil cases. She has testified in local, state and federal courts. She consulted for and provided expert testimony to the Department of Investigation of the City of New York, the New York City Law Department and to the office of the District Attorney.

Brayer has addressed many organizations including: the Xerox Corporation, Lucent Technologies, Inc., American Express Bank, Merrill Lynch, the New York County Lawyers Association, the New York Women's Bar Association, the American Society for Industrial Security, Rockefeller Security Directors Association, the International Association of Credit Card Investigators, and the Society of Professional Investigators. Ms. Brayer is certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board to teach an accredited Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course for lawyers.

Brayer is the author of "Detecting Forgery in Fraud Investigations: The Insider's Guide". She serves on the Board of Editorial and National Advisors for Inside Fraud Bulletin, an international security publication. Brayer is the former Vice President of the National Bureau of Document Examiners of NY, past President of the National Speakers Association, Metro NY chapter, and a member of National Association of Document Examiners and the American Society for Industrial Security.
